Andy Evers
Chaplain, Charity Manager, Buildings Lead and Assistant Safeguarding Officer
I’ve lived in Dronfield with my wife and 2 boys for the past 17 years. We’ve fallen in love with the town and never plan to leave. 12 years ago I had a vision for a community centre to serve the wonderful community of Dronfield. To be a place open to all who live and work in the town and surrounding area. That vision has developed, been shared and grown into what life now is. I’m really excited about seeing this vision come into fruition and making what is already a fantastic place to live, even better.
Having been a primary school teacher for 15 years and then 8 years working with Families, Youth and Children is a local church. I took up the role of Charity Manager here at Life Dronfield in January 2024. In 2024 I completed my training as a Community Chaplain through Waverley Abbey College. I love my varied role, with no two days ever being the same. I'm extremely excited about the building works which will commence soon, but I'm equally excited about the groups we as a charity are able to deliver across the town with our amazing volunteers and being able to weave my chaplaincy support through all that life does.
If you fancy a coffee and a chat about the charity, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at andyevers@lifedronfield.org
Equally, feel free to drop into the office and say hi.
