The Gavins Foundation are kindly purchasing the Parish Halls for Life Dronfield and once rennovated, we will purchase the Halls from The Gavins Foundation. This large and spacious building in the heart of Dronfield, will be transformed it into a vibrant and contemporary community space whilst still retaining its beautiful old features, character and charm.
We already have planning permission in place and the plans can be seen below. We know we have ample space, (including a new mezzanine area) to provide different areas for different groups. There will be a large play area for little ones, quiet areas for reading or working on the internet and an open café area serving nutritious and affordable food and snacks. We will have space to provide extra facilities for those with additional needs so all will feel welcome.
In January 2023 we began the long process of rennovating the building by removing and replacing the roof at the rear of the property. This has meant the building is now water tight.
