The life team starts 2019 with optimism and increasing momentum as word spreads and more people respond. It’s very heartening to see tickets for the Barn Dance selling fast and to see widespread engagement through our Community Needs Questionnaire. And last but certainly not least, we have a chance to discuss life and all it means for our community with our MP Lee Rowley.
Barn Dance – Saturday 2nd February is going to be a fun and enjoyable evening. If you have already bought a ticket thank you very much and if not grab one fast as there are only a few left. If you need more information and to buy tickets please use this link, Barn Dance Tickets. or speak to a member of the Core Team.
Community Needs Questionnaire – This is your chance to make your views known. For those of you who have already responded a big thank you and to everyone else please take a couple of minutes to complete one. Your views are extremely important to us and to anyone who will be supporting us with grants, time and other resources. Please use this link, Community Needs Questionnaire which provides an option to complete online or download a copy. Please encourage your friends to complete it as well, so that we obtain input from the largest possible cross-section of our town. Responses so far have been extremely encouraging.
Meeting with our MP Lee Rowley – Following some initial contact with Lee, we are thrilled to be invited to Westminster for further discussions. This will take place in the next couple of weeks and we look forward to giving you feedback. It would be brilliant to have active support at this level in Dronfield and we are confident it can open more doors for us. Watch this space!
Architects – Work with Design XY is continuing at pace and we are planning to submit our application for planning permission at the beginning of March. They continue to impress with their knowledge, planning, thoroughness and affinity with our aims.
Best wishes from the life team.
