The excitement of Christmas is rapidly approaching, lights and trees, cards and presents, mince pies and mulled wine and at the very heart of it the good news of Jesus Christ.
Our main news cant come anywhere close to this, however we did want you to know that our full Planning Application was submitted as planned at the end of November. We look forward to hearing back from the planners in the New Year and we will let you know as soon as we have any further information.
In the last newsletter we told you about EasyFundRaising and if you signed up, a big thank you from us as you’re already contributing to life when you shop online. If you haven’t please give it your consideration, its simple and free because the retailer you’re buying from is the one that contributes the money and they don’t charge you anything extra. The following link will take you to a search box page and you simply type in Life Dronfield and you’ll be able to sign up. Each purchase you make will result in a small donation to life plus you get the satisfaction of contributing as you do your Christmas shopping or make the most of post Christmas sales.
You should also notice that we are getting more active in our engagement with people in Dronfield. We hope you saw us in the Civic Centre for the big lights switch-on in Dronfield. It was a great evening, we raised money and got to chat about life to many people who hadn’t heard about it before.
On the same theme we have the first of our “Conversation Cafes” scheduled for the 22nd January. The idea is to get groups of people together to talk about the needs that they would like life to meet. This first one focuses on Parents with Pre-School children and if you would like to have more information please click on the following link. Conversation Cafe
Many thanks for your continuing support and best wishes for a happy and peaceful Christmas from all the team at life.
